Sources and limits
- KFF Employer Health Benefits Survey 2025: average annual premiums, single and family, by firm size.
- Mercer National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans 2025: 6.7% expected average rise in 2026 (employers with 50+ employees).
- A rough comparison from public averages, not an insurer's offer and not a promise of any result.

Who I serve
- Owners and CFOs, any industry. Built for 50 to 500 employees. Same process from 10 up.
- Fractional CFOs, CPAs, and advisors who refer clients.
What I do
- First, the Health Plan Renewal Snapshot: a preliminary read on your cost per employee and your renewal against public benchmarks, with no underwriting data.
- Then, if it's worth digging into, the Health Plan Cost Review: 24 months (or whatever exists) of claims, stop-loss, and pharmacy costs.
- Both are advisory analysis, not a CPA audit.
What a Snapshot request needs
- What I need: an employee census (date of birth, gender, home ZIP, coverage tier, no Social Security numbers), your plan summaries, and your renewal. You get the Snapshot within 5 business days of complete documents.
- Optional, but they sharpen the read: if you're self-funded or level-funded, claims, stop-loss, and PBM (pharmacy benefit manager) documents.
What you get back and when
- The Health Plan Renewal Snapshot, within 5 business days of complete documents. $0.
- The Health Plan Cost Review, 2 to 3 weeks once I have the documents and claims. Flat fee set in your engagement letter: $7,500 for the standard scope, $12,500 when a self-funded structure is priced.
How to send it
- Use the Snapshot request form or email aloha@mattragudo.com.
- Documents come through a secure link, never plain email. Email me and I'll send it.
- No Social Security numbers.
